I compiled my own selfmade album using your great tracklist sequence using my two EON albums and the Tymoschuk tracks. I had to boost the amplification on the EA tracks using cooledit, since the promo dvd extracts play much louder, making it uneven. Could you please upload a seperate link of the outstanding DVDRick extracts that you incorporated? It will save me the data usage :-).

Rafael, I don't know if you already know about it but this site http://www.geocities.com/bondsmellsarat/
has a review of each soundtrack. At the bottom of each review it shows what cues are missing from even the latest 2003 Capitol Records releases of the Bond soundtracks. I thought it may help in deciding what soundtracks to expand that need it most if you are still working at the OSTs.

You are doing a great job and have a nice collection here, your expanded scores are in great quality, it is really nice to have some of the missing tracks from the movies. Even a little sound effects I almost enjoy because it really gives me the feel of the movie I can imagine the scene better. Keep up the great great work and thanks.

It�s very nice to hear that you liked all the expanded scores, because I don�t like the SFX that sometimes pops on some of the songs... But that�s better than nothing, I suppose!

I don�t intend to do other dvdrips (because it takes a lot of time, and I don�t have all the time in the world) besides TSWLM, as some people requested it.

But that doesn�t mean this thread will die, because there�s a lot of other Bond music to cover here.

I've downloaded the expanded soundtrack of Tomorrow Never Dies from here a couple of days ago and noticed something that's been bugging me for a while now. The Backseat Driver is missing that Bondish Climax fanfare from 3:41 to 3:56 from the scene when the BMW 750 reached the rooftop and then right before bashing through the wall. Could someone please explain to me why they edit "that" out from the track, because to me the score just doesn't feel like it's giving enough, little or even no justice at all to that particular scene or the whole car chase in the parking lot!!!

Sorry if I sound like total freak-nerd, but I had to get it out of my system. Again, my apologies.

Here it is, but I like said before I complete yet, if someone help could me find these missing track, and thats it. Enjoy everyone;)

Anyone have the bagpipes song after the opening of The World Is Not Enought?

Meanwhile I've tried it on 4 different computers with 3 different browsers (IE7, Opera, Firefox) and also with or without my 4shared premium account. Always the same result - the download didn't start on the 4 mentioned files.
Have you tried to download the files or have you only checked the links? The links to the 4shared sites are ok but when you klick on "Download File" nothing happens. All the other Bond downloads working fine.

I�ve checked that too, and it worked... The download window appeared. You were browsing using proxy or something? Have you tested with a different connection, or ISP?

Veca did amazing on AUF in my opinion, I'm just very angry there was never a proper soundtrack release! Many of AUF's tunes were great and in more of a John Barry mold with some of Arnold's techno and Veca's own stylings.

Thats strange. I can download all the other files - there is absolut no problem.
But the 4 files don't work for me. The last time this files where downloded was the 24th February 2008 the 4shared website says.

Maybe it's a chance to edit them like songs from Goldeneye or LTK ? ---> something like silent the vocal/sfx.

I haven�t even tried recording those cues, because the sound I wasn�t pleased with the sound quality. Goldeneye already have an "expanded score", on the mainlist. It has a lot of SFX, so if you want to clean up, go for it

Octopussy does have a lot of music on the rear channels but has a lot of SFX, and LTK is spread between Centre and FL/FR. So they're really tough!

I think Octopussy is definitely possible though. The non-CD cues will never sound as good as the CD ones though, obviously, so don't expect the rip to be as good :P Although it'll be high-quality.

I'm sure you know what I mean about OP/LTK, not easy to do. I mean, some tracks will be bad. There's no denying it- I can think of a couple of LTK tracks straight away that you can't lose the SFX. Thankfully there are others where there's little, or you can use the CD cue (i.e. escaping WaveKrest music).

OP I have good hopes for. We'll see if we can make it an all time high :P

And Rafael: Do you mean if I need assistance I should ask? Well, I'm curious about what audio editor and plugins you use, and any other tricks of the trade you use- if it helps me it'll help make a better rip of course.

I already have the music ripped- editing and pasting is the hard task ahead.

Yeah, I�ve checked then both... LTK is easier to rip; the only problem that there is a lot of instruments only on the center channel, so I didn�t like this and didn�t tried to rip it. I think you had a lot of patience trying to isolate most of the SFX, and that�s great!

Anyway, to edit and master the tracks, I use Sony Sound Forge 8.0... When the music requires some cuts and editing, like crossfades and such, I prefer using Acid pro 6.0, since it has better controls of the music, and Multiple audio tracks.

Since the movie music and the cd music have diferent volume levels, I suggest you normalize all the songs to the same volume level, using the function normalize, or something like that.

The main title track of Shamelady is not the Bjork song (which is used during the end titles) its Deceased from Nina Persson. This song was also written by David Arnold.

I've heard that about 1/4 of the music Barry wrote for the movie never actually made it to OHMSS or was utilized incorrectly in the finished print. If you're a big fan of the movie / score, you might want to try to find this version one way or another if you want to see the movie in a completely different light. :D

Shaken and Stirred: The Complete Bond, James Bond 007 by the Film Score Orchestra?

I've been searching for it for ages, I used to have it but the disc got damaged. :( It consists of Instrumental versions of the title themes.

I'm doing a project to do with composition for music at school, and i chose to rescore the pre-titles scene of Goldfinger. The problem is, I don't know how to get rid of the original music from the clip and leave the sfx in. If anyone could give me some pointers, or better still do it for me (lol), i would be extremely grateful.

I�ve checked Goldfinger DVD (Ultimate Edition) and you can�t isolate the SFX ,playing only the center channel of 5.1 mix; the soundtrack is on this channel as well, so you can�t get rid of the original music. That�s because the movie has been originally shot in mono, and they probably don�t have the original master tapes of sound effects to work with them separately on each channel... If you understand what I mean. So, I suggest two things to you: you get other sfx to mix on the new sound of the scene, or try another movie with an original 5.1 mix, when you can isolate the center channel.

With all the 'complete' soundtracks, for example The Man WIth the Golden Gun, the SFX have been pretty much muted, but you can still hear then a little bit. It's the same with the Voice/Kareoke versions on Tomorrow Never Dies where the music and voice repsectively have been muted. Is there a good programme to do this with?

Yes, but like I said, you can�t with Goldfinger. I muted most of the SFX playing just the left and right channels, muting the center channel, where most of the dialogue and effects are. But, since Goldfinger was shot in mono, and they don�t have the master tapes to remaster it decently, the guys at Lowry just put the original mono mix (with the soundtrack, dialogues and sfx) on the center channel, and "expanded" the sound on the other channels, to get some kind of "surround" effect. That was the best they could do, without messing with all the sound effects (like they did with the gun sounds in OHMSS)

So, you can�t isolate them, because all the channels play the same thing

Well... I think Live and Let Die is already complete on the original release of the remastered edition... Maybe this "complete soundtrack" has more tracks because someone organized the musics in order they play in the movie, spliting the suites, etc... As for FRWL, may be some tracks ripped from the DVD... But, like I said, I never heard of any of these bootlegs

Not until someone get the trailer with 5.1 sound... In VOB format We�ll have to wait if this teaser will be on some dvd release.
