I present you my rip of all tracks found in this game (80 tracks total, 592 MB in size).
Tracks were extracted from .afs container with lafs tool by hcs, decoded by vgmstream (made by hcs, FastElbja, manakoAT, and bxaimc through foobar2000 plugin by Josh W, kode54) and converted to OGG vorbis q10 (highest quality). Any player should open OGG fine. I will not make mp3 version because of better OGG bitrate - around 500 kbps, and its ability to keep more frequencies. Original files had very high quality (altough not lossless), so OGG was a better choice. You can see some spectrums HERE (http://img402.imageshack.us/i/greenshot20110426214915.jpg/) and HERE (http://img810.imageshack.us/i/greenshot20110427225158.jpg/).
After some pain of tagging, here's the tracklist:

COMPOSERS: Makoto Hosoi, Ryo Koike, Wakana Hara and Hiroyuki Akiyama

YOU CAN DOWNLOAD EACH GROUP AND EXTRACT THE FILES INDEPENDENTLY,
aka if you want say, only fourth group, it's enough to download only the file marked as fourth group....

First group contains tracks 1-20.
Second has tracks 21-40.
Third: 41-54.
Fourth group has tracks that are exclusive to ps3 Sigma version. (55-73)
Extra group has some tracks that I couldn't find names for, so if you maybe recognize some of them, and know their names, tell me about it here.

It took a while to make this rip (and to upload it), so a simple thx wouldn't hurt, right?

Great job, cooljacker! And nice of you to show the steps of the ripping process.

I have one question though:
Itried to do the same ripping thing and extracted the bgm.afs with lafs, but after trying to istall the latest version of vgmstream for foobar2000 from Index of /vgmstream (http://joshw.info/vgmstream/), I get this message: “This component is missing a required dependency, or was made for a different version of foobar2000.” And winamp doesn't recognize the files either. So must be I'm missing some dll files for f2k, but which ones? Can you say what do you have in foobar's 'components' folder?

EDIT: Whoops. Never mind. I just noticed where you linked to, which is where I got those, so obviously you already tried them. :P

Are these they? vgmstream_external_dlls.zip (http://www.mediafire.com/?ba1x65auc9ayjtr)
I did try to mess with those external dlls before, but first of all - where exactly they suppose to go: in 'components' folder or in C:\Windows\system folder? Either way I tried both and came up with no effect. The files from bgm.afs are still unplayable in foobar.

Actually I can install the old version of vgmstream (for example 27-Feb-2010), and then all the ADX audio files from previous Team Ninja games can be easily played/converted in foobar, but when it comes to the latest version of the plugin - I keep getting that error message.

Worth a note, the files from Ninja Gaiden Sigma's bgm.afs don't have an extension, it just says 'File' when looked in file's properties. But I'm guessing it's still ADX, simply without a proper header or something, besides cooljacker mentioned the raw data was lossy, and thats exactly the case with ADX.

I'm using those external dll files and they all go to foobar's components folder (along with vgmstream plugin), here's a pic:

Also, vgmstream version is "vgmstream plugin r937 Mar 24 2011". I should probably get a newer one though, when it's made.

And yeah MiL, extracted files had no extension, but when I put any of them into a hex editor, they begin with "CRI" (as CRI_Middleware - the ones that made the adx/aix/aax formats) and that was a hint they are .adx, so I used multi-rename tool in Total Commander to add that extension and after that it was just a matter of converting and tagging.

Almost forgot, I'm using vgmstream in Winamp too (without problems so far), I've explained how to set it up in THIS (Thread 82902) thread.

Thanx a lot for the guidance, cooljacker, but even after I followed all the steps, it still doesn't play the files in foobar or winamp.
Kinda strange cause I have no problems with other ADXs from Team Ninja games (DOA4 for example).

But it's ok anyway, your rip is perfectly fine and complete, I was just trying this out for the heck of it.

Thanks. Finding the soundtracks exclusive to the Sigma version has been a massive pain in the ass these past few days.
