After I kill Ultima Wep and goto the gold saucer Ruby wont show what gives??? How do i make em pop up after I killl Ultimal Wep?

Ruby Weapon will only appear after you beat Ultima Weapon in Disc 2 i think.

Are you !@#$ing serious can someone plz comfirm this????? Im at the end of disk3 id have to go back like 20 hours to get to disk 2

Whoa calm down, you can kill Ultima Weapon anytime you feel like it. Just fly around abit (or longer ^_~) and eventually you'll find him. You battle him and after a few attacks he will leave the battle leaving you with no expierence. Go fly about and if you dont see him flying then check the tows on the map. He will visit Midgar and some other places (which are chosen random) and he will be hovering above them. After you have done this a couple of times you will find him just a bit west of Cosmo Canyon hovering in the air. This is the final battle and beware that his final attack Shadow Flare is strong enough to kill one party member and it is an enemyskill so you may want to equip everybody with an enemy skill materia to get it. After beating it you'll get Ultima Weapon (Cloud's strongest weapon with no materia growth) and Ruby should apear near the Gold Saucer.

Plus the fact, in case u didn't know, ruby's head is the only thing that appears in the sand. It isn't that hard to see, but you can overlook it easily, you have to fly into it's head to initiate it to attack...

i thought ultima weapon only showd up on disc three and the secret weapons only appeared after ultimate was a giant crater. i could be wrong though.

Far as I know, you can only kill the Ultimate WEAPON in disc 3. He only makes that one showing in Midgar, and you can't kill it, I don't believe at that time. Once you get through Midgar, leave the Crater, then go kill the Ultimate WEAPON. At that time the ruby and emerald weapons shoudl show up.

Whoa whoa whoa. Lots of misinformation going around here. Let's see if I can clear things up:

- Ultima Weapon does appear and can be beaten on Disc 2. You can fight Ultima Weapon anytime after Diamond Weapon. I've done it before.

Procedure:
Ultima Weapon's first location is always the lake near Junon. Fight him the first time there. Only after you've fought him is when you start chasing him around. Keep chasing him around, you may have to look around for him and keep fighting him. (Which can only be done once he settles down in one particular spot.) Once Ultima has settled down over near Cosmo Canyon, it's time for the final showdown. Do your best against him and make sure to have Enemy Skill materia to learn Shadow Flare. The killing blow determines who learns Shadow Flare. If you think you can do it, then place all four Enemy Skill materia on one character and have them do the killing blow. They'll learn it for all four materia.

The other weapons:

- Emerald Weapon is available for fighting anytime after you've gotten a submarine, regardless of anything you've done related to the other weapons. Ram him with the sub to fight him.

- Ruby weapon appears anytime after you've defeated Ultima Weapon. That means you can defeat him on Disc 2, since you can beat Ultima Weapon on Disc 2. Ram him with the Highwind or a gold chocobo to fight him. Oh, and it's true, only his head appears, so keep watching for it to appear in the sand around the Gold Saucer, then ram it.

I did kill Ultima Wep, Then I went to saucer and he still dident show....Do i have to wait a while before he appears?

:( All of my experience and everything I've read says that he should be there. One thing I read said that you have to reset your game and then load your savefile. I don't know if that's true, in any case, you've probably already tried it. If by some case you haven't, try that.

What version of the game do you have? PC or Playstation and what country?

Remember, you're looking for something red to ram into roaming around in the desert quicksand that encircles the Gold Saucer building. He pops in and out, so just keep watching for him.

I just use normal PS1, I have the american version and ive played this games 4 times through already and here was there each time.

That is really weird. I've never heard of that bug before. The only way that Ruby shouldn't be there is if you've already beaten in that game. Otherwise, he should be there. I guess it's a bug. Everything else has been exahusted. You're sure you're the only person that's been playing your game? Is Emerald Weapon there? Were you able to fight him?

Yea emrald is there and i could fight him fine....

I don't know then. That's everything I know of to check. Anybody else know of anything? Otherwise it's just buggy or something.

Do you have any savefiles from past FFVII playing where you haven't beaten Ruby? If so, maybe you could try loading one of those and see if he's there. Other than that, I'm lost.

Mascot, you need to fight Ultimate Weapon 4-5 times defore he finally dies. After you beat him once it usually takes awhile for him to come back, so while you're waiting level or something.


The way you know he's dead is if he crashes east of cosmo canyon making a crater. Then Ruby Weapon will appear.

I think xMASCOTx knows that. I already said that and he also said that he's beaten the game four times before and was able to fight Ruby, so I'm pretty sure he knows to do that.

Hmmmmmmm, how very odd. You definately haven't beaten Ultima if Ruby ain't there. I've beaten this game so many times it makes my head spin how i can play it so much. Anywho, check if you have the "Ultimate Weapon" for Cloud (that's what it's called) If so, you've beaten Ultima, if not, fly around ;)

I'm with agent 0042, it must be a bug in the game or so... b/c you have beaten it 4 times and ruby has showed up..so i don't know what to say of it rather than continue with the game and or start over again...sorry.

I can't say I know what the proble is either, but howabout you tell everybody what the last thing you did in the game was?

Yea, hope you didn�t use gameshark or nuthin� that ususally bugs the game out.
