Definitely. A part of the hipster archetype is that they act detached from everything and only show marginal interest in even the things that they apparently are into, which I think is related to the whole "irony" thing.

I've never met anyone in all the hundreds of shows I've been to who has struck me as presenting anything they wore "ironically," though. I'm pretty sure all the trucker hats, "vintage" stuff, and Journey T shirts were worn because they actually liked those things. This is why the whole idea bothers me so much. If you think someone's taste is terrible, fine. Tell them they have shitty taste. This "hipster" thing goes beyond that and tries to assert that no one can actually like bad things, they just pretend to for some kind of nonexistent "ironic" status, or that nobody legitimately likes anything that's old. Just because something is trendy doesn't mean people don't actually like it.

Also: pretty sure that picture is Tegan, but it's hardest to tell them apart when they are making goofy facial expressions. I'm about 75% it's Tegan though... I think the jawline/nose matches hers.

tbh I think it's more the angle she's standing at than anything else. I look way thinner standing like that too, and Olivia Wilde is super tiny to begin with. Gorgeous too, even though 13 is the reason I stopped watching House.
