GAME OVER. As you all know, the U.S. government shut down Megaupload a few months ago, and that was where all these files were hosted. Currently not in the mood to re-upload all these albums. Don't know if I ever will. I hope someone cool who has these editions archived will start their own thread. So long for now.

At this point someone might as well just import the CD. I find it so strange that the others are readily available and IV isn't. My Dragon Quest OST playlist is incomplete without it. </3

Can't say for sure. The DQ Gold soundtrack is 1-8 but seems to be the orgional releases of the Game and Symphony CDs. (I, II, III, 2 CDs for IV, 2 for V, 3 for VI, 3 for VII, and 2 for VIII)

In the cases where there are 3 CDs, 1 of them is a piano soundtrack.

If it is infact the same thing, I will upload, but I never knew there were more then one ochistrated DQ soundtrack variations outside of the single instrument C.Ds.

Yeah there's roughly 3 versions of each Symphonic Suite; the NHK, the London Philharmonic, and recently the Tokyo Philharmonic. As each iteration progressed, more tracks were recorded due to the remakes and such.

The DQIV version that we're missing is the only Symphonic Suite version that has the most numbered tracks at 14.

Just a quick answer, as this box contains music from the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and not the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra.

And to be honest, the CD you are missing is not "unfindable".

Of course the CD isn't if you wanted to go through legal routes. But since this is an mp3/download section of a forum, not a single source has been produced for it in that form and that is why it is still "missing".
