as far as I can tell, it's one of the only tracks not included on the ost. But being that the remix is one of my favorite songs in the game, I made a 2 minute loop version of it taken directly from the game rip.

I did. All files remain intact.

Also, they're not that fast. I was already downloading this in lossless from Japanese P2P. The torrent just finished faster.

And who cares so much about credits? I don't credit myself on my rips. I was planning on ripping the Makaimura Music Encyclopedia without crediting myself, and that's a 7 disc set.

I didn't have to get to any particular point in the game in order to make this for you because I ripped the song directly from the game. But if you were interested in capturing the song for yourself, you can hear it after completing any one of the many optional missions the game has to offer.

I downloaded the OST a while ago when it was first posted and I must say that three tracks in particular moved me: "Theme of CRISIS CORE: Under the Apple Tree", "Why", and "The Price of Freedom". The slow country-esque/sad feel I get from listening to them reminds me of so many things at once. It was the same feeling I got when I first heard "Simple and Clean (Original edit)". :)
