1) Are the unreleased tracks on "Final Fantasy IV Minimum Album" ( http://www.gmronline.com/info.asp?CatNumber=N09D-004 ) and "Final Fantasy Mix" ( http://www.gmronline.com/info.asp?CatNumber=PSCN-5012 ) also arranged/live songs?
2) Are there any new songs/mixes on the two S and N Generation albums?

Thank you!

Those are "official" ones, there are a lot of "amateur" arrange albums out there as well if you're interested, although mostly are from the Japanese music scene (doujin scene).

Probably one of the best arrange albums in the scene is Alexander "Housethegrate" Liss' Houseworks. Although it's not only Final Fantasy. Here's a video of him playing guitar and piano over his own arrange of FFVI's Dancing Calambrena: http://youtube.com/watch?v=lfOIfH8CuxA

OCremix.org finally released FF7 - Voices of the Lifestream, a free arrange album with over 3 and a half hours of music. 45 tracks by 40 musicians which took about 2 years to make.

Also check out Project Majestic Mix, they have a "Tribute to Nobuo Uematso", pretty good stuff in there by some well known remixers and bands. (including The One Ups, a jazz band who play arranged game music)

Doujin albums are a mixed bag. Crow's Claw is pretty solid if you're into rock or metal. Crow's Claw has 2 FF arrange albums, both on gh I believe. Serenade released 2 arrange albums with mostly square/FF songs, one of the better doujin releases. Preludio has a nice rock album called "For all you FF lovers".

I assume you're looking for 'real' and FF-only albums only though. I mentioned Housethegrate's album because it's excellent and the arrangements done very tight, but there are other (live) bands out there with some FF songs on their albums.

I'm familiar with a couple of those amateur arrange albums but you're right I only had the official releases in mind. Doujin means "amateur" right?

Would you, or anyone else, know the answers to the questions at the bottom of my initial post? And am I missing an official arranged albums from my list?

Thanks.

Also, Uematsu's Best Selection has the English version of "Melodies of Life~FINAL FANTASY" (also found on the S Generation CD) instead of the Japanese.
