That is indeed the saddest news I've heard yet, his score was very well made. Hopefully if they released the Spider-Man 3 DVD that there would be a slight chance they could do a Isolated Score, that would make any Christopher Young fan wet his pants.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrgh, those bureaucratic bastards... I can't say I'm surprised though... One more kick in the teeth to Chris Young (who went through HELL in Spiderman 3, just as Danny Elfman had in the previous two, no doubt in the hopes that if it went well, it could help his career) and another kick in the teeth to his fans.

I have no doubt that Chris will press a promo, which will (equally no doubt) find its way here sooner or later... But it's a real bummer that it won't see a commercial release.

Yeah, I'm hoping for some kind of promo release. Somebody will probably rip the DVD when it comes out too. The Spider-man 2 rejected score got released somehow, so hopefully this one will get out also.

The score, as well as the film, sucked overall anyway. No big loss about a score album.

It's a shame Danny Elfman left this project, but judging by the things I've read about what he went through with the first two films, I don't blame him for leaving. I'm quite relieved he didn't have anything to do with this horrid film.
