Is there actually a key card you can get so I can get back into Midgar?
I read somewhere it wasn't true, but other places say it is.
Also, I have looked up everything on it I could find, and I still haven't got it.
Can someone please tell me where it is before I die!?
With a detailed description. 0:)

Hey, if you try to go into midgar, there will be a bloke who says that he lost the key on a tour of bone village! Head over to bone village, do the treasure hunting thingy and then you should find the key card, (cant remember where exactly) Then just head back into midgar and you can walk right into Sector 7 slums and wall market!
Hope that helps! x

Sorry bout the double post but i just found this...might be useful!
How to get into Midgar in disc 3
If you try to get back into Midgar you will see a man standing by the door who will say that he lost the key on a tour of bone village. Go to bone village and order a search by the tent at the top of the village. This may take a couple of trys but when you get it you enter sector 5 by Aeris's church and you can go to sector 6 as well.

I always find it at the lower right corner of the screen. Try searching underneath at the tip or near the tip of the plane wing.
Also, when you search for it, I'm pretty sure you have to select 'Normal Treasure'.

i think so, cant really remember but i think you go back into midgar (via parachute) on disc 2, then soon after that ur on disc 3....
...
Yeah i think u can only go back on disc 3....can anyone else confirm this?!?
Where about in the game are you, try going back into midgar and see if the bloke is there? And also, have you been to bone village yet? If not then you probably wont be able to get in!
Lol.
Don't worry I've finished the game.
:P
I'm one of those people who have a file where everything has to be done on it.
You know?
Killing all the weapons, getting a gold chocobo which equals getting KOTR, plus tonnes more.
I'm also trying some new theories.
I started a new game and bought that Revive materia because apparently if you level it up anough it has a secret form - "Resurrect".
Then if you go back into Aeris' church and do all this stuff you can revive her.
Blah, blah, blah.
I know people said the rumors aren't true, but the site had some pretty convincing screenshots and I've got some spare time so I figured I'd try it out.

Sigh...
Don't bother. These rumours have been persisting since the game's original release back in 1997. But, they are all completely baseless, and are simply NOT TRUE!!
Aeris.. can NOT be brought back to life. Period. There are NO secret mini-quests in the game, no secret materia, no hidden cutscenes or anything. She cannot be ressurected in a normal way in the game, period.
You can however, bring her back by hacking the game with a cheat device - aka, with a Game Shark for the PSX version, or a save file trainer program for the PC version - to add her back into the party, after the inevitable occurs. However, the game will often crash completely in certain places if she is in the active party, especially in the final battle. But this is the only way to revive her I'm afraid. Everything else you may have heard or read on the subject are just hoaxes and lies.
I apologise if that sounded a little nasty, and also for derailing the thread topic somewhat, but I felt I needed to get those facts clear in case there were still some FFVII players who were still under the misconception that Aeris can come back to life.
I'm not necessarily under the misconception.
I used to actually be like you and be all "ZOMG, SHUT UP PEOPLE. SHE'S DEAD!! SHE CAN'T COME BACK. DEAL WITH IT!!"
But then I figured - I've got spare time. Why not?
I'm not expecting it to actually happen.
I'm just testing it.
Every day there's a new theory and for the fun of it, I might as well test it.
:)
Thanks anyway.
And it didn't sound nasty.
It sounded frustrated though.
As if you've tried to convince a lot of people to stop them from doing it. :P
Oh, and what I really came here for.
(I know it's a double post but ner.) :P
I got the keycard !!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY !!
For me. :D
XD
Thanks all who helped.
