This is the SFX-free score to the trailer. I had recently seen the name of the composer, but cannot locate the page I read it on. However, this is the legit score. I can't tel you how many times I've heard it since last Friday, (including watching people's shocked reactions to the teaser, which I will not spoil here for those going spoiler free.) Needless to say, this was not composed by John Williams, but certainly adapted his theme for Princess Leia.
Enjoy!

from Twitter:
Enormously excited to have contributed music to the new trailer for Star Wars Episode IX. Getting to work with John Williams iconic themes is as big of an honor as it is humbling. #TheRiseofSkywalker

That's right... it was Twitter. I was out of town all week. I stopped by Lucasfilm yesterday... got a bit distracted.

Ditto. Vocal free, definitely. SFX free, not so much.

I believe those sounds were incorporated into the score. I've heard another version of this posted on YouTube which just sound like it was center channel extracted. This came direct from the site of the people who did it.

Great share my man!
I love tacking the trailer music on to the end of my albums.
Too bad we don't have clean releases from both the teaser and trailer for The Last Jedi. I absolutely loved those!

I got a pretty decent TLJ edit off YouTube. Some guy started doing trailer edits and some of them are pretty legit.

Thank you very much.
The trailer music single-handedly made me excited to see this movie. (That's a risky play, for several reasons, but there it is.) Unbelievable orchestration!

Friend! :-) I'm a newbie to this forum and I'd really like to have a little help from you. I couldn't find a way to message you privately therefore I'm writing it here apologizing beforehand for disturbing you. I need to have some help getting that "The Music Behind the Magic" box-set you once shared here for a college project. The set was never ever sold in my country. Would you hand it to me? I thank you very much in advance. If it's some kind of bother I ask you to message me for I can't find a way. Thanks

Many thanks for the link. I'm curious though, how does one get to find this kind of content ?
