the pain was caused when the reunion never happeened due to lack of sephiroth... and then geostigma occured O.o

Well this is the i see it. The meteor at the end of FFVII caused Geostigma, when the lifestream covered it, it merely only contained Geostigma to Midgar.

Anyway, i think Sephiroth was obsorbed by the lifestream but it had nothing to do with his physical body.

Also note that the Jenova cells that Hojo injected in himself caused him to mutate. Could this be Geostigma in its early ages?:eye:

why would it go from mutations to life threatening disease? wouldn't the disease part come first, logically speaking because the mutations would be an adaptation to combat the disease. maybe Hojo's mutations are what happens in the later stages of geostigma and he was always taking small doses of Jenova Cells. he did kinda look decreped(spelling) and physically screwed in the game.

That is incredibly possible...epsecially since the Jenova project had started long before Sephiroth was concieved. hmmmmmmm.

umm, i had a look at the dvd info... and well, those prices seem a bit... out of whack. i did the conversion and the normal dvd comes to 60 AU... that is DOUBLE the standard dvd price here... and the special edition is like 350 AU, i mean i could easily expect 100 or 120... but anything over that... well... hmm.

my minatour took sooo long to make... i mean i didn't even e-mail myself a picture... i showed one of my friends, and when i told them i sortta killed my HDD's partition and had to format... they almost killed me. oh well, lesson learned :).

but about the AC Bahamut, completely a personal opinion here, but i think that it would have been better if they went for the original Bahamut design, it was simple, it was menacing and dark, and it weilded the power to do damage. The attack would have also been just as good to incorporate into the movie, it's pretty much the same.

I agree i think the original FF7 bahamut was the best. Although, strangly, i didn`t think he was meanacing in FF7. I just saw him as a reliable team member:)

I was watching that trailer too and also noticed that at the same part that Aztroth was talking about with the building falling that Cloud is standing on his sword(due to the fact that the build he's standing on is on some incline and can't stand on it without falling, so he stabbed his sword in the side/groud and stood on the hilt of the sword)and has no other weapon. How the hell is he goin to fight Sephiroth with no weapon? (please correct me if wrong)

the people over at square do this thing with trailers called "editing" before the trailer is realeased

I'm not saying that's a glitch. I just say he's going to be defenseless in the battle and How is he going to fight him without a weapon

lol, it was so funny when i saw the trailer... the sword was actually kinda normal sized, looked almost like a Katana.. sort of, not really... like a longsword of somesort, but it certainly wasn't a Buster Sword :P

Like the games, the American realease always had more than a basic logo on the front, vompared to the simple European and Japanese covers. So just like the games, i think for the american release they will have what Slash showed and for the Japanese and European, a basic design ( AC logo).

My guess would be a light blue photo shop mix of several characters and key places/objects in the movie to be the cover.

That's a pretty good assumption, but I never think about what the packaging will be like due to the fact that sometimes, the developers select a cover design much different than from what I expected. Examples? Hideo Kojima always suprises me with his widely varying cover designs. Check out the simle white of Metal Gear Solid, then the scratchy brush stroke portrait of Snake on the cover of MGS2, the in-game engine cover for the Twin Snakes, and the bright, highly detailed cover for MGS3.

But that pic with Cloud and Sep wouldn`t fit on a DVD cover, i still say the logo on it`s own (for the European and Japanese reslease only).

isn't the original logo just a blue meteor picture behind the title name FINAL FANTASY VII. All they did to the DVD as seen in that site is add ADVENT CHILDREN underneath FINAL FANTASY VII and the meteor pic is the same as it was on the game cover...

short anime... that means OAV/OVA... that means good quality Anime Animation... which means i have high hopes for it and hope it doesn't turn out a waste...that means = worth the buy :D

yea it is unfair on the general population. They do make it expensive... if DVD's weren't as expensive as they are, as well as other media of entertainment, i'd probably buy more... but i can't really afford it and it's a shame. But on the occassiona when something like this comes out, i will buy FFVII:AC... i mean it's not everyday they release it.

It's part of the digital cable pack. My server is Comcast. The channel number differs with each server, but G4 is an all-VG, all the time station. Very good if you want info on all sorts of Video Games and the stuff that goes with them. Also, some little reviews will be part of ON-DEMAND, which you get with digital cable.

You don't have to have HDTV to have G4, but it does make it a little more fun (my friend has it, I don't)
