Currently being an active user here at FFShrine, and if to be elected, what I want for everyone here and for all the different communities, is a more welcoming place for future users, a better place for all of us share, download,

If I am elected, I will begin a reform of the download section. This will be the biggest change of them all. An organizational system will be put in place to help other users keep track of what is being actively shared, and what needs to be reuploaded through a system of flags. Furthermore, all three download sections will be merged into ONE conglomerate. I beleive this is in our best interest. Sometimes, merging hostile colonies of ants will initiate them to habitually destroy each other. However, I believe that bringing the community together will allow us to work more equally as ONE as opposed to separated by Sub-forums.

- Consistency is key. Naming schemes will be put in place to better understand threads. This would be enforced to ensure the forum stays clean and pretty to both users and guests, and will allow an easier function of searching for content.

- If a user's thread is dead and they are not willing to reupload/continue with a thread, the thread will simply be locked and a "Flag" will be put in place indicating that the user's share needs to be reuploaded should anyone desire to do so, in accordance with the existing rule; all links must go in their own threads!

- Posting an exact copy of someone else's share or "mirroring" it in a new thread while they are actively sharing it is not nice and will not be tolerated as this creates unncecessary clutter and flame among users who try to put effort into their posts.

- Considering doing away with the FFshine name in its entirety as the forum is no longer representative of such.
- Considering disabling results in Google to better protect the illegal nature of this website as well as implementing a better search function.

- One of each bitrate per share is desireable, such as Flac/320/V0/V2/256/128, duplicate threads of the same bitrate will be merged/locked depending.
----reposting someone else's share in a new bitrate is OKAY. So long as that bitrate for that share/album does not already exist on the forum.

That's why I treid the "same format/same thread" which no one liked.

NO ONE wants to share thread with topaktro. Everyone wants to feel warm and special here.

I also tried duping the first post, filling the second post with quotes to the mirroed links so MOST people don't read the thread and only read the first post.
The number of regulars to the forum VS the number of regulars to a paritcular thread VS the number of registered users that are mostly leechers...
is too substantial.

Plus, if two members don't like each other at all, or someone "RESERVES" an "upload/post/thread" and doesn't upload in time before someone else uploads, there's lots of drama over that. And at that point, those two people don't want to be merged and organized.

You need to break the spirit of these people to get any organization.

Not to mention, force people to read rules about "labels that cannot be posted for legal reasons".
Get them to post information about their upload because MOST of them hold the "it's free music" shield.
Or say "it's good enough for me".
And then no one still has no idea what format, what release it is.

You need two people.

1) Technical aspects only. Ignore any PM's about human relations.
2) Human Relations. Someone to deal with all the drama between members.

This place makes you unhappy.
Especially when most members start talking to you about problems and miss the point entirely with casual conversation.
Repitition and off-topic ranting does not get the message across.
HR can sit through it and talk things out, but no action must take place until the Technical mod/admin is informed.
You'll have the two mods/admins cutting each other down with nothing more than just "IMO" defenses.

I never said I would lie. Simply ease the truth, the blunt truth as you put it, into their heads in a way that won't induce them culture shock or just up and leaving the site for good. Introducing a new way of thinking to someone who has been thinking the same way for years isn't something you can simply do overnight.

Accepting users of all sorts is the standard I want to set for myself. It's simply, really. All you have to do is follow a simple set of rules. Creating chaos will just get you banned. Repeat offenders will face a march harsher punishment. Sufficed to say, a forum that can sustain itself without the need for moderation would be a Utopia.
