So apparently most of the .hack// game soundtracks from the BakaBT were ripped using Medieval Cue Splitter, and seeing as Medieval is rather... flawed (*points to signature*), those particular rips are pretty much no good now. So right now I have to request the following:
.hack//G.U. GAME MUSIC O.S.T. (
http://vgmdb.net/album/1119)
.hack//G.U. GAME MUSIC O.S.T. 2 (
http://vgmdb.net/album/4217)
.hack//Link GAME MUSIC O.S.T. (
http://vgmdb.net/album/17318)
(Non-Limited Edition alternatives are okay.)
And apologies for being picky, but they have to satisfy the following criteria:
Format is either lossless or VBR V0 MP3
Must be a proper rip (i.e. not using Medieval Cue Splitter)
EDIT: Found baidu links, but I require help with those.

I don't understand this retarded obsession people have with LE PROPER RIPS and LE LOSSLESS.
I guess I must be a filthy casual pleb in those people's eyes, but as long as it doesn't sound like absolute low quality dogshit... or if it doesn't have errors that can be heard (like pops and clicks).. then why bother? Feel free to correct me, if I'm wrong.
If it's just to burn the songs to cd... I strongly urge to just buy the original ones.
Also if you found links, it would be quicker for you to just post them. Then whoever can download them and reupload for you or some crap.

Here's the thing: Medieval splits the rips all wrong, with length mismatches and all that crap as detailed in the link in my signature. My concern is less about quality and more about accuracy. Anyway, the reason I didn't post the links at first is because I don't wanna take chances since the Chinese guys have an annoying tendency to take down their links as soon as someone shares it outside of the forum they were originally shared in, but I managed to register a baidu account just to mirror them. Still can't do jack shit about downloading them though (main problem being that I keep getting a network busy error whenever I try to log in via their downloader program):

http://pan.baidu.com/s/1mhqbSkK
http://pan.baidu.com/s/1kUwj85x
Warning: I'll take them down after someone mirrors it somewhere that is not baidu, as I only have 5GBs to work with.

This is odd.
I tried to grab these links using Jdownloader (which always works on various baidu links I tried... though speed is usually crap) but it can't succesfully detect them. I even checked some other links, and they work.
I'll try to register an account later, unless someone beats me to it.

I have those 3 soundtracks on my blog. The link is in my signature.
I'm not sure about the mp3 quality, but .hack//Link is the Limited Edition OST. Links are Mediafire.

Before I go and download them, where did you get them from? Sorry for being this fussy, I'm trying to make sure they're not from the BakaBT rip, which as I have stated in the OP I have a problem with.

I don't remember, but I'm pretty sure they were from a different source. SonixGVN, maybe?
The links are about 3 years old, I uploaded them from my old external hard drive which I dropped and killed earlier this year. >.>
EDIT: Confirmed that .hack//Link is from SonixGVN's site.

CBR 320 on the G.U. OSTs. Oh well, I can make do with them until someone reuploads the FLAC ones from baidu.

The G.U. tracks on BakaBT have some noticeable distortion (at least in their VBR rip). I might download their lossless collection to compare it, but I'm pretty disappointed by this. Does Medieval Cue Splitter cause distortion, too?
Surely this isn't the only place with a .hack// collection (well, other than KHI).

I don't really know, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.
