As much as I appreciate the generous inclusion of underscore cues on Turner's indispensible expanded CDs of MGM classic musicals, on some occasions it is even nicer to hear the instrumental score and dance music minus the songs. This is a 46 minute symphonic suite which I have pieced together from the 1964 Debbie Reynolds MGM musical classic, THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN, consisting of 12 tracks, which I call "The Molly Brown Suite"�. The Meredith Willson Broadway song score was adapted and orchestrated by Leo Arnaud & Alexander Courage and conducted by Robert Armbruster. The Molly Brown Suite makes for a wonderful listen. I hope you agree.
