I don't think this OST is in chronological order, is it? 'I Hate My Life' in the film sounds like a sort of demo of the version on the OST, I like it more..

I read that Giacchino composed and recorded before the film was done filming, and not only did he prefer to work this way, it made way for a score not restricted to what is shown in the film. I assume that the OST is how he originally recorded and then was edited, very greatly too, into the film. Do wish the sessions appear one day, or the blu-ray doesn't take too long, the end credits music was beautiful

The power of the SpongeBob is not to be underestimated. And this Friday Fifty Shades of Gray - how is it a film that centers on BDSM gets labeled as "romantic?" Strikes me, pun intended, as the antithesis of romance - and Kingsman which I will be seeing again. I give Jupiter Ascending two weeks and its gone from the top ten.

Saw this yesterday. If you go in expecting a kids' movie with overt homages to Dune, Brazil, Flash Gordon and The Phantom Menace, it's watchable. Giacchino's score feels recycled, but it works.

Wow! Most certainly one of the best scores of the year! Too bad the movie is such a failure! Though you get the feeling there may be a director's cut in the future, fixing some of the issues. Or maybe a fanedit.

Got the links, so thank you. Saw the movie yesterday and jeezus... what a piece of crap. Just a mess of a film. Never been a huge of fan of the Wachowskis to begin with, but this was easily their worst film (though I haven't seen Speed Racer in awhile).

The score was fine, though. A little loud at times (I saw it in IMAX). Hopefully it sounds better as an album.

After MATRIX: RELOADED they were pretty much dead in the water (rule of thumb: don' try your hand on filming/continuing a narrative you don't understand). Every other film they did after that was just plain old BAD.

Very much enjoyed the film.. a little murky with the initial plot layout but eventually caught up. A second viewing will be all that more pleasurable. Visually a stunning film, great imagination... and some ripe moments of humour.
