Another great Unreleased Promo composed by Lee Holdridge from the film Puerto Vallarta Squeeze 2004.
Good sound quality MP3. Many thanks to the original provider of this score. Enjoy!

Nice score. Thanks to ikitbeni (and the original uploader) for the share.
The covers are nice too, but proofreading is a must.
Back cover artwork created a hybrid for the author of the original novel by combining Robert James Waller (author) with Arthur Allan Seidelman (director) to produce Robert Allan Seidelman (Puerto Vallarta Squeeze (2004) - Full Cast & Crew - IMDb (

I have this also on disc and was going to share it sometime, but it sounds exactly the same as what Ikitbeni is offering here so I assume the source recording is the same and I see no reason to share my copy now. But I can add this additional information:
"Puerto Vallarta Squeeze" was a 2004 straight-to-video thriller about a government hit-man who mistakenly kills a civilian and then hides in Mexico to avoid being hunted down by the very agency he works for. He takes a local lady hostage to help him get across the border, and eventually finds himself falling for her.
The original score included a lot of popular south-of-the-border tunes, one of which can be heard on track 1 ("La Golondrina"). Holdridge's music tends to be either brash action or simple Spanish guitar, but the last 3 tracks are lush pieces for full orchestra. Holdridge wrote a song for the film called "Starting Now" (sung in the film by popular Mexican singer Daniel Rodriguez, but not found on this recording) and tracks 31 and 33 are gorgeous instrumental versions of this tune.
The movie was not well-received, which might be why the studio felt it wise to take it directly to video, and may also be why no soundtrack was ever released. I do not know the source for this recording, but there are no sound effects, no tape hiss (that I can hear), and the stereo sound is quite good. EAC indicates the lossy cut-off at about 16,000 (standard Mp3).

That's for the info. I've seen the film, and I thought it was quite entertaining!
