This is from a very rare original acetate ----1941 BACK STREET composed by Frank Skinner
Sound quality is fair from this unreleased soundtrack. 15 tracks, approx 43 min. Sorry, no covers.

Awesome :) Thousand thanks for this fantastic gem of this really outstanding Golden-Age-Composer :) Unfortunateley Frank Skinner is one of many composers which till today are underrepresented and need discovery.

Thank you for this exceptional post. I was only aware of 1961 version. It is interesting to hear the differences in how Skinner scored -what is essentially- the same movie exactly 20 apart.
