i think blitzball in final fantasy x was much easier to get better and didnt have to worry bout geting injured plus i loved playing as the people

but in x-2 they have new people lucil is funny and tidus is still has good if better plus its 5 mins long which is good i do over head map so its easy to win and faster to see

what are your thoughts??

I could never figure out how to control FFX-2's blitzball, so I never really bothered. I really liked FFX's style and could never get into the new style. Not only that, but FFX-2's blitzball didn't have any unique prizes, so I didn't see much point in bothering.

I'm much more of a Sphere Break fan - I can really get into that one.

I prefer FFX BB over FFX-2 BB. It's easier, more straight-forward, and you actually get to play the games instead of monitor them. FFX-2 is more for the simulation lovers, although it could have been reworked a bit (ie. teams manage themselves instead of keeping with the same people with the same stats forever). I did like that the game lasts 5 minutes, and up until 7 goals, and you can keep 12 people on a team at once, but all that can't make up for the techs, levels, and the ability to actually play it which made FFX BB rock!

I thought FFX-2's blitzball was horrible in comparison to FFX. FFX-2's blitzball was more confusing and alot more boring......most of the time u just watch arrows go around the screen. Whereas FFX you can actually control the characters.

FF-X blitzball was ok. It looked good and everything, and FF-X doesn't have that many minigames, so this one was quite good. :)

When it came to FF-X-2 blitzball, I didn't want to play it. I didn't even try. This game is packed with minigames already, I didn't want another one.... :(

I preferred FFX's version of Blitzball than it's sequel.

FFX-2's Blitzball is too cluttered and therefore harder to grasp and take control of. I stayed away from playing Blitzball in FFX-2 except when I had to for percentage points.

But then again Sphere Break makes up for it.

Oh, as far as I know, you don't have to do this game for getting the percentage points. :)

When it comes to the point in Luca, just answer with "yes lets have a blitzball game" and stuff, but break up right before it starts. I did that, and I think I got the points too. ;)

Really it sepends what you like. I liked FFX's blitzball cuz of you can control it.

But X-2 was a good coaching point of veiw, so I didn't mind that either. Though I didn't play X-2's Blitzball that much.

Well, in FFX Blitzball required effort.

In FFX-2 I just put the control down and let it play out on it's own.

Didn't really care whether I won or lost.

I perfered FF-X's BB better cause you can be so damn cheap. Just shoot ject shot 2. Should be an instant goal :D

Blitzball was better in X-2, you had so much to play around with man, it was like l33t stuff, I've only found one place that could teach you how to blitz properely and that is the official stuff

But while browsing on a site i found, I found this nice one

i would say ffx is better more things to do cloud play near the start all charters cost money not cp
and less chamiponchip manger style more playing

i didnt know how to play x-2's blitzball! i didnt even know how to control it. it was just hard to understand. FFX's was better and easier to play. better players too (cos u use the aurochs, not yuna and co.)

FFX's blitzball was much better by far. I played X-2's blitzball once, and then gave up. I thought it was shameful that I didn't like it until I came upon this thread.

I guess Squallthelionheart has no life. Who the hell spends 200 plus hours playing a minigame in a game?

Hey that's his choice, i'm an impatient person and wouldn't be able to do that, but yeh it's his choice ^_^

playing a mini-game is just the same as playing a game, so do you have a life if you sit and play 200 hours+ playing a game? hmmm?

i go to coolege and all so i am busy but its nice to relax at home sometimes

yup ^_^ you're just a perfectionist! me? i just can be bothered, i don't like the mini-games much (hated blitz because i SUCK at it) but i liked the chocobo polo i think thats what it was called, you rode a chocobo and you had a stick and you had to hit a ball while riding the chocobo...it was pretty hard, but i liked it ^_^

Ok now that i have read your answer, i understand. I thought it was like you just stayed up for like 10 days straight just playing blitzball. Sorry brain just doesn't comprehend that fast (fell on head a few times)
