Loved the show (and its music), but I thought it petered out at the end. It didn't really wrap up or have much of a conclusion, for it supposedly being an anthology with completely new characters every season.

HAHA! I like your style!
It didn't go over my head, I just didn't find the characters to be very interesting. I like dark shows but this one is just excessively nihilistic. I found myself mostly hating Matthew McConaughey's characters because he didn't seem to have much redeeming qualities. I had similar problems with Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad. The situations were so realistic it was depressing, like being a detective on the cases they were investigating. I get that people want realism but I like my shows to have some uplifting qualities to them. Some level of hope in the world would be nice.

Love this show, normally I'm not a guy that watch a lot of tv series but with this one I was hooked from the very first episode. Maybe cause it looks and feels more like a huge movie cut in 8 episodes, the cinematography (see the ending of episode 4) and acting are great. Contrary to some here, I find the soundtrack very original and ominous which suit perfectly the show. So obviously pm sent.
