I do not have my rips anymore since they appeared to be useless after all.
You can still enjoy the HDCD features with standard lossless 16-bit CD rips and the HDCD plugin in Foobar.
Actually, most of the CDs I ripped do not have any HDCD features (that I discovered with the Foobar plugin). They were simply mastered on HDCD hardware, which automatically triggers the HDCD flag on those CDs but they do not have any of the extra features.

The only scores that have HDCDs features are: Mad City, The People VS Larry Flynt, Up Close and Personal, Oscar and Lucinda, Red Corner, The Horse Whisperer, Erin Brockovitch.

I couldn't agree more (and would add How To Make An American Quilt)! Unfortunately, the HDCD format was released in 1995 and the first HDCD Thomas Newman scores are from 1996. My physical collection is pretty complete and I have released every HDCD I have so far.

Regarding Little Women, I am eagerly waiting for the Blu-ray release and cross my fingers for 24-bit audio... Hopefully it will come out later this year for the movie 20th birthday!
