This wacky comedy from 1990 had a plot you'd never suspect: Matthew Broderick, a film student, is hired by a shady businessman (Marlon Brando, doing a take-off on his own role in The Godfather) to help transport illegally-imported endangered species so wealthy foodies can eat them. Possibly based on the real childhood of Andrew Zimmern, this farce featured a surprisingly tuneful score by David Newman which was never commercially released. That's your cue, Intrada!
These same tracks were also released on the private DNCD label (#002LR) and in a close comparison I found them to be exactly the same. I do not know which release came first. The DNCD version also includes 13 tracks from Newman’s score to The Cowboy Way. However, The Cowboy Way was also released in what I think is a superior version and which can be found here: Thread 165389
16 tracks totaling about 32 minutes.
Good (not great) stereo sound. A little muffled-sounding. No dialog or sfx.
Tau and EAC indicated all tracks on this disc to be lossless.
Disc was ripped to FLAC using XLD.
