This 1998 coming-of-age movie for adults follows the budding relationship of 2 unlikely people, a lonely divorce (Holly Hunter) and the depressed doorman of her apartment building (Danny deVito in a serious role). The OST on RCA featured 11 vocals from the film, including 4 by Queen Latifah, who plays a sultry nightclub singer and good friend to Hunter. This "For Your Consideration" promo focuses on Fenton’s instrumental score instead, which has a lot of relaxed music for the intimate moments of the film, but is also peppered with a few upbeat cues (blues/jazz/salsa). The final track is a vocal by Clark Anderson (who also has a small role in the film).
19 tracks totaling about 42 minutes.
Great stereo sound. No dialog or sfx.
Tau and EAC indicated all tracks on this disc to be lossless.
