I dont know how I feel about this... I did enjoy the film series overall, but I thought the last film tied everything together very well. To me this seems like a cash-in by Warner Bros.

BTW, this should be moved to the TV/Movie Discussion section rather than the General Media Discussion section.

WB wants to add a new Harry Potter to the 2015 blockbuster year race. They want to compete with: Jurassic Park 4 Terminator 5 Tintin 2 Man of Steel 2 James Bond 24 and so on.

I wouldn't mind. It's not related to the plot of the original Harry Potter series anyhow, and I'm sort of longing for more interpretations of Harry Potter.

Not that exited tbh... I would have loved a Quidditch documentary or something. I dunno, it might be me but all this Pottermore stuff is enough at the moment. Why can't she just write more books?! We really do not need WB to milk HP even more.

J.K. Rowling appears to keep a pretty tight rein on the way her works are portrayed on film so I think this should be a good move/movie.
