Warlock is a cult movie for me, one of the best films about witchcraft I have ever seen. For my taste, this film enjoys very good special effects, especially if we consider that it's a film in the late 80s. I love everything related to magic, and this film speaks of black magic, the magic that comes from the devil, given as a gift to his subordinate: The Warlock.

The story narrates the terrible actions of an evil sorcerer and his lust for power, which will take him to find a powerful book of witchcraft "The Grand Grimoire", with which he can revert the Creation itself. Assisted by demonic forces, he travels through time by an evil portal to fulfill his sinister destiny. However, a wizards' hunter is looking for it to avenge the death of his wife (I guess), although this revenge be subordinated to the task of preventing the Apocalypse.

Personally, I very much identify with this film, because at the place where I live, there happen things that for many people it's witchcraft: Fireballs in the air, night flying demons, strange creatures, mysterious appearances and transformation of people into animals. In fact, there are two persons who apparently are very powerful sorcerers, and are actually capable of doing amazing things. They live in a dangerous mountain, isolated from everything, and they are seen only when they wish it. Je, je, je... Well, living in the field so far from the city, people say things like that, but that occur rare events where I live? That is certain.
Talking about the soundtrack, the best theme for me is "The Sentence". This leitmotif is repeated constantly in the score with some variations and colours. I've decided to upload the soundtrack in Wave, to share it with all the Forum. The file contains the original scans.
