A tender album by Manos Hadjidakis with four young and expressive voices. "Athinas" is a well known street in the center of Athens, and the 16 ballads describe the everyday life's tough reality of a vast variety of people that live, work or just pass from there. Quoting the composer himself, this work is "a poetic study on the violence and our dark root". One more masterpiece of the unforgettable composer in a lossless rip from a new, 2013 re-release.
