This was the first score to introduce me to Tyler (followed up with Godsend) and while the album is bombastic and action-filled enough, I can't resist in asking for more. Godsend also if possible. These were the innocent times of Tyler's career before he went more high profile with Timeline after replacing the maestro Goldsmith's score. It wasn't a bad score per se but it was the further development of Tyler's overly intense action pieces that he doesn't seem to break away from for too long. He has expressed his talents elsewhere but his action scores are where his heart really is. When you see or hear his music, you can oftentimes feel the love he puts into amping his music up to its max. Of course, on album it can be a bit much but seeing as how Darkness Falls was one of his first bigger scores, we get to see what he was capable of doing before he fell into his preferred niche. The same goes with Godsend (as far as that goes, I don't expect that much music was missing but there were some cues I noticed were missing that I particularly liked) and Terror Tract (an excellent release from LaLaLand but still missing some good cues from the film).
Thanks in advance for any help!
