Because it was a good game and I didn't want it to end. I haven't been so invested in a game since Uncharted 3. Also, the new characterisation of Lara was very well done. Hopefully it spawns more sequels (well, I know it will, but it'll take years).

First off thanks for this amazing share.

Well to each its own. I for one simply was put off by the game's hand holding along the way,
that it totally lost my interest leading me to stop playing it - Effectively.
Just in case anyone needs clarification on what I mean - there is no challenge what so ever in the
game. It is soo easy from start onwards, I was left shaking my head, as I ramboed my way through
each chapter like the Baus.

I even managed to chat with an individual that claimed to be a tester of the game during the
development of game, and I asked him the same question with others at him such one dimensional characters
and implementation of devices aka stealth mode *cough! cough! - detective mode from Batman, regenerative
hp... etc. He replied me that indeed he himself inquired about the same things during his tests, that the
response he got was that they (Developers) were aiming the title at the more casual crowd, since the style of
former tomb raider are more hard core centric.

Wow, I am speechless as to what is so hard core about the previous Tomb raider title, that this was dumbed
down to baby puzzles like that of Dead space 3 along side cheap plot devices.

So sad in this day and age, developers are out of ideas, they simply just imitate, instead of innovating
new ideas. Seems like every new game/reboot wants to be either or the inclusion of the games below.

1: Halo 2: Mass Effect 3: Call of duty 4: Metroid/Castlevania 5: Zelda 6: Uncharted 7: God of War

Please, do not get me wrong, to some extent it is a good game, and if this was a game unrelated
to the Tomb Raider title, I might have been less forgiven.

I agree that it seems like games are getting simpler in general, as they become more polished and easier to handle. But I played this in hard mode and there was enough challenge to keep me happy (some of the gunfights took me ages to complete). Puzzle-wise, I didn't get stuck too much, although I'm only at 80% so there's still more secrets to be found in free play. Mostly, it felt like I was playing a movie (like with the Uncharted games) and that's why I loved it. It looks great, it's fun to play and it's not frustratingly impossible (but still challenging enough for me). Unfortunately, because of that, I end up playing too hard and it's over all too quick.

Oh yeah, and the music is good too (gotta keep it on-topic).

I ended up finishing with 91%. I found all the tombs, relics, documents and caches, but I didn't complete all the extra side challenges (they aren't shown on the map -- I don't have the patience to wander aimlessly for them!) and I'm missing two weapon upgrades (need 800 more salvage). But I think it's safe to say I got my full enjoyment out of it, now I'm unsuccessfully attempting some of the multiplayer challenges. No matter how good I think I am, I always get my ass kicked. :-P

I ended up finishing with 91%.

91 % .. congratulation ! I finished the game with a score of 81 % !

All about keeping the investors happy. And that is done by playing it safe. That's why we'll have titles Call of Duty 10 Extra Black Ultra OPS North Korean Special Dog edition. They sell.

If you're looking for originality, keep to the indie scene. The big name developers is very much like Hollywood nowadays. Producing great looking and sounding products that effectively lacks soul and pizzazz.

The first two links on Cosy are still alive (Uploaded, Bitshare), but yeah, I'm planning on downloading and adding a new archive with the 50 or so new tracks, once my carpal tunnel lets up. :-P I'll also be sure to put it on Mega since links seem to be lasting there.

I hope this doesn't count as a necro-post, but I've some bad news (or good), Jasons added some more tracks to his soundcloud, seems they've been there a while. Bringing the 'additional tracks' from soundcloud upto 83 in total, + the 20 from the Original Soundtrack makes 123 tracks, thats pretty awesome!

1 of the new ones I'm able to spot is Suite 03 Level 3 Percussion only, which is not the same as suite 01 level 3 (seems theres, if I'm counting correctly, 3 versions of each suite, bring it to 9 there).

It is possible the info on the facebook page is a little off though, there are a few tracks missing but I can't seem to work out exactly which ones.

Oh and by the way, there's one more track in the game that isn't on his additional tracks, you may remember early in the game after hunting the fire deer Lara goes into the bunker, following some creepy traditional Japanese music.
Well I've managed to track down that song and its this: Akaro (Female Vocals) by Markus Bravo (http://www.audiosparx.com/sa/archive/Japanese/Ryukyuan-Classical/Akaro-Female-Vocals/31755) I've not been able to find anymore information on the music at all, and unfortunately ripping it from that site is pointless as there's a voice that says 'preview' every 20 or so seconds, the only other way to get the track would be from the games actual files, I've had a look there but the way the game organizes its music makes everything almost impossible to piece together sadly.

I won't lie to you guys, of course it's real! except the medley concert which is only in 16 not 24. The problem, is that I can upload it, only in several part. Because it would ask me 8 hours to upload the 3CDs... So I am searching a better way to upload them...

You should just upload the score in 16-bit FLAC. 24-bit FLAC is quite bullshit. All that matters is how the audio was recorded. It is more correlation than causation. The reason that 24-bit FLAC is that usually is better is because people who get 24-bit FLAC are audiophiles and they look for dynamic range in a song. That's what makes a song sound better. You record a song in 24-bit FLAC and down covert it to 16-bit for mass consumption. Vinyls sound better (most of the time) because the song is recorded and mixed properly and not artificially made louder for radio and car speaker consumption.

Take your time, I'd love to have these in better quality! I think they will release a commercial version for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, seeing as it comes on all the deluxe editions available for pre-order now.
