NPC: A character in an RPG that cannot be played.

Trying to attempt to bring in a new tradition to FFS, to give the recognition to those who have helped moved the story but not a main character, I bring you the Ultimate NPC Battle of FF7.

In this thread, you can nominate an NPC to fight in this battle. All you have to do is nominate an NPC and maybe explain why he/she should be here. After we get at least 16 NPCs down, we'll start seeding them into slots in a bracket then the voting will start.

Now, because this is strictly NPCs and there are several NPCs that can be considered too powerful (This includes Sephiroth), you cannot nominate any of the following:

Cloud
Barret
Tifa
Aeris
Red XIII
Cait Sith
Cid
Yuffie
Vincent
Sephiroth

And one Nomination per Shriner, if someone else has nominated the one that you want, find someone else to nominate.

But since it's here, and MK's unlikely to close it, I nominate Rufus.

How about the Turks? They count as one altogether. It's only fair that it's like that. I mean, they go on vacation together for gods sake.

You'll probably just have to pick your favourite Turk and nominate that person.

I nominate Lucrecia to the big tournament.

I nominate Shera; she can stand up to Cid's "abuse" and spend her life in servitude to him without having a mental breakdown.

I also nominate Heidgegger. He works for the Weapons Department of Shinra, so hes gotta have some nice weapon choices for a battle.

Let's face it, anyone that keeps a stock of Mastered Command, Magic and Summon materia, Gold Chocobos and such on hand in exchange for Earth Harps and Desert Roses must have lots of other cool stuff to use in a battle.

Plus, he's the only one not mentioned.

Wait wait wait... since when is there a Sapphire Weapon??? There was never anything mentioning something like that in the game. There was only Diamond, Ruby, Ultimate, and Emerald. Or am I thinking of the one that got it's head blown off by the Junon cannon? :confused:

There was Sapphire Weapon, Diamond Weapon, Ultimate Weapon, Emerald Weapon, and Ruby Weapon. I just suppose that Weapon, was the one that attacked Junon, but It is very likey to be Emerald Weapons (Which it is), I'm just guessing.

Yep that was Sapphire Weapon.. it was blue in color..

But if that was Sapphire weapon, why would Emerald Weapon appear under Junon when you first use the sub? Where is the remains of that weapon? I still agree with you, but it's just odd.

I vote for the man who gives you the yoshi whatever sword and the venus gospel in ff7. If he can give these away he must have a huge weapons stock!
