My Ripping Philosophy:




It is all about quality, not quantity. Every record I pick for digitalization is at least in VG+ condition and gets washed on a Hannl Limited RCM before recording. After whole side-normalization, I do my very best to meticulous eliminate all audible clicks and pops using Shure SE530 In-Ear headphones. To preserve transients, the entire declicking process is done only manually in ClickRepair and iZotope RX Advanced. Depending on the certain pressing quality, this takes a lot of time, but in return the sound is so clean that it is even a pleasure to listen to when using headphones.
Besides best possible quality in digitalization, I invest a great amount of time in reproducing the complete LP artwork. First I scan everything on a Mustek ScanExpress A3 USB 1200 Pro and second I revise all scans in Adobe Photoshop. When finished, the LP artwork is cleaned from dust/dirt, straightened, color corrected and put into right format.
