Re-Mastered by Spectre[8750].
Adobe Audition v3.0.1 with FLAC Importer, Exporter.
This Release was converted to 96Khz 32bit Wave
for re-mastering then converted to
44.1Khz 16bit for CD transfer.
Track 5 Second Half was mistakingly added to
Track 6 after ripping. This was corrected.
As widely known Track 5's running time is
incorrect on Album Cover.

Restoration:
Noise, hiss, distortion, pop and click removal.
Also dropouts, bang and clang reduction or removal.

Ok, to be clear, i didn't post any Varese here. I know the Cimmerian Records release is a bootleg. the VSD-5278 was allways a PM me deal. So why is the Cimmerian Records
removed?, that has nothing to do with Varese to begin with. Curious?

Because the Cimmerian Records is a bootleg that contains music from the Varese edition, and since that VS release is to this date the latest edition to release a soundtrack from The Thing, it needed to be removed.

The reason the LP edition was left as is, it's because the LP was never released by VS.

Sure, no problem. just call me Spectre. I need to get it changed to Spectre8750. I actually haven't gone by Spectre Gadget since the 1990's, but i used it when i signed up here a couple years ago. not sure why.

I'm working on a 24bit newely transfered and Engineered copy that is really quiet clear and crisp. soon to upload, if anyones interested.
it will be uploaded as 96khz 24bit set.

OK guys and gals, This is a new transfer and professionally cleaned by me with Artwork. 24bit and 16bit versions included. If you've downloaded this prior to The 4th of July 2013 You need to get the new version. It's Master Tape quality or better.

With the 24-bit version, I'm getting a 30.5 kHz sample rate (rather than 96) when I convert to wav. I'm using FLAC Frontend for the conversion. Any suggestions from anyone on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks (and thanks for the post).

With a 96kHz sample rate you will get 48kHz per channel. My graph shows a full 48kHz per channel roll off at the end of the first tack. I converted it to 24-bit wave using Foobar2000 to convert.
