Note: for fans of this film, a director's cut is now officially available (with 21 minutes of new/alternate/extended scenes) but if you're like me you're going to end up having to import it until Criterion gets their hands on it. Regarding the music, I'm not a big fan of Maurice Jarre but I've always had a very soft spot for this score as well as the film itself and I finally got my hands on a rip of the rare LP that was pressed I assume in the '80's, albeit it's only in 160 kbps MP3 but it sounds very good and features a nice selection of music but there is more featured on the isolated score on the DVD which I have given up on trying to rip. I hope you all enjoy!
