Ebichu�s guide to making choices in a troubleshooting environment.

1) If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Unless you want to break it more, obviously. This is called sabotage! General rule of the thumb is that you do not sabotage your own business.

2) If it is broke and you can fix it, then do it. Be sure to punch people in the face who call you Bob the Builder.

3) If it’s broke and you can’t fix it then forget about it and move on. If you were the one who broke it, take responsibility with a straight face. Unless there’s money involved, then blame someone else.

4) If you are not certain if rule 2) or 3) applies, choose rule 3) cause you have to consider the fact that you’re being obnoxiously naive and childishly optimistic about the matter being fixable.

4b) If you are stubborn and you choose to go for 2) anyway , you’ll eventually end up at 3). Only this time you’ve lost twice as much time. People will think you’re an idiot.

5) If you choose 2) and succeed, you got lucky. Do not ever think that you succeeded because you’re so smart. Cause you’re not, you moron!

6) Finally, whatever you may choose, remember and take comfort in the idea that the outcome of choices is purely random. Even if it really isn’t, just go with it. It will hurt your idiotic brain less when you fail.
