		Final Fantasy 4 Story Cecil, the commander of the Red Wings, has been ordered by his king to obtain the four elemental crystals. This troubles him greatly, when he confronts the king about his motives, the king banishes him from the kingdom of Baron. What does the world have in store for him after he's lost everything he once knew...?


		Re-release! Although originally released on the Super Nintendo, many Final Fantasy fans were first exposed to Final Fantasy 4 when Square re-released this game along with Chrono Trigger in the United States in a compilation dubbed "Final Fantasy Chronicles."

"Easy Type" ?

There were actually two "types" of Final Fantasy 4, hard-type and easy-type. The Final Fantasy 4 released on the SNES was the easy-type version of the game, while the PSX re-release featured the hard-type along with a more accurate translation of the game.
